Studio 28 is a walk-in-friendly tattoo studio on the 3rd floor at 108 West 28th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. The team works across a broad range of styles — black and grey, realism, neo-traditional, traditional, fine line, blackwork, lettering, ornamental and illustrative colour work.

Appointments are recommended, especially for detailed pieces, but walk-ins are welcome Monday through Saturday. Ages 18 and over only.

Studio 28 also offers body piercing (a separate service with its own artists and hours — piercing is available seven days a week).

$100 shop minimum. A $100 deposit is required to book and is applied to the final cost. Work that takes about 2 hours or less is usually a flat rate; larger pieces are billed at the $200/hour rate. 3% discount for paying the full cost in cash. Ages 18+ only (New York State law).
